Who Can Join?
This experience doesn’t require a minimum number of participants; it’s available even for solo adventurers. However, for an optimal experience, we suggest forming a group of six. This way, you’ll have exclusive use of a vehicle and won’t need to share space with other travelers. It’s important to consider that the desert safari is a vigorous activity. We typically advise against participation for children under three, expectant mothers, and individuals with certain health concerns, such as back issues. Nevertheless, we can arrange for a private vehicle to transport you directly to the campsite, allowing you to partake in the various camp activities. For families, we provide child safety seats.
Safety Measures
Al-Inara’s team comprises experienced, professionally licensed drivers with first-aid training. The vehicles are equipped with safety features such as roll cages to safeguard passengers in the unlikely event of a roll-over, and seat belts for all occupants. We use robust 4×4 Land Cruisers for the journey, ensuring that from the moment you board, you’re fully insured, along with the vehicle.
Essential Experiences
Bringing a camera is a must to capture the stunning desert landscapes. Dress comfortably and leave valuables like jewelry, high-end watches, and smartphones behind, as connectivity is limited at the camps. Don’t miss out on trying traditional Arabic coffee and enjoying a lively belly dance performance at the camp.
Sandboarding
This exhilarating activity lets you glide down the tallest dunes on a board, with soft sand below to cushion any falls. It’s a must-try for all visitors, offering a unique blend of thrill and fun. We suggest opting for the red dune safari for the best sandboarding experience.
Camel Trekking
Embark on a serene camel trek across the dunes to witness a breathtaking sunset, culminating in a relaxing evening at the camp with refreshments and dinner awaiting your arrival.
Quad Biking and Dune Buggies
Choose from two quad bike models suitable for adults and children, with the larger 350cc bikes offering more power and the 150cc models ideal for younger riders. Quad biking is restricted to a designated area near the camp for safety reasons. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, our two-seater dune buggies are perfect for desert exploration. Led by an instructor, you’ll receive comprehensive safety briefings and gear, ensuring a thrilling yet secure adventure.

Cancellation Policy
Cancel the tour within 48 hours before pick time, with no charges.
For cancellation Please email us a minimum of 2 days before the the tour date/time.
Cancel less than 48 hours after tour time, and the full amount will be charged or a 50% refund.
Cancel before 48 hours of the tour date the full amount will be returned in 24 hours by cash at the Hotel or transfer to your card.
You can cancel/amend the booking within 05 days before the date of arrival without any charges.
